XEROX EMIRATES SIGN CONTRACT WITH ASSECO SEE AT GITEX 2013

ASEBA BPS enables banks to process twice as much documents simultaneously, will further strengthen Xerox’s position throughout the financial sector

Xerox Emirates, a joint venture between Xerox Corporation and Mohamed Hareb Al Otaiba, recently signed an agreement with ASSECO SEE to provide the award winning banking solution, ASEBA BPS, to the markets of Middle East and North Africa. The agreement was signed during this year’s GITEX by Andrew Horne, General Manager of Xerox Emirates and Vladan Atanasijevic, Member of the Board of Asseco SEE.
ASEBA BPS enables banks to process twice as much documents simultaneously and has been implemented in several banks throughout south-eastern Europe. ASEBA BPS software implementation and maintenance range from a few thousand to a few million Euros per project, depending on the size and segment of the business requiring this system. By partnering with Asseco South Eastern Europe, Xerox Emirates is looking to further strengthen their position throughout the financial sector by offering proven solutions that target automation of the banking business processes and content management.
“We represented our state-of-the-arts product – a multiple award winning solution ASEBA BPS, and we aim to export this solution to the Middle East and African markets in cooperation with our global partner EMC Corporation. We believe that there is a considerable market gap in these markets which would enable export of products and services of Serbian ICT companies, and we are excited to be working with Xerox Emirates in this regard.” stated Vladan Atanasijevic, Member of UO Asseco SEE.
Xerox Services delivers proven, end-to-end Enterprise Content Management Solutions that automates business procedures, helping clients achieve high efficiency levels in addition to programming back office operations, with an expertise in the Public Sector and Healthcare. The goal of implementing solutions using smart process applications is to increase the productivity of people actively engaged in business processes while eliminating risks. Real time monitoring of these processes allows bottleneck identification and workload distribution.

In addition to their recent collaboration, Asseco SEE has organized a training workshop for Xerox Emirates sales representatives on Asseco’s solution for optimization of banking processes ASEBA BPS, a software developed in Serbia. By implementing additional EMC Certified Solutions, Xerox Emirates is building on their current partnership as well as widening their partner networks in order to become a leader in providing full lifecycle IT services.
In addition to growing their business throughout the GCC, Xerox Emirates are looking to expand and provide new offerings in IT services, investments in consulting and system integration capabilities, building solutions based on customer relationships and customer core process understanding.
