The information and communication technology (ICT) sector fraternity has once again experienced a triumphant and proud moment. The 15th edition of the ICT Champion Awards 2022, organized by JNS Media International, an OMA Group company, celebrated and complimented the efforts of vendors, distributors, resellers, and system integrators on their best-in-class efforts in bringing the right products and solutions to businesses. Industry leaders, business owners, and members of the media attended the event, which was held on October 10, 2022, as part of GITEX Technology Week 2022 held in Anantara Downtown. Leading players that have demonstrated competence in developing, integrating, or delivering top-notch solutions and services are given honors in over 32 categories. Award nominees are chosen based on a jury’s analysis of nominations submitted by the winners’ partners and clients as well as editorial evaluations from The Integrator. Channel partners were able to network and expand their business potential for the upcoming months and years thanks to the well-organized gala awards night and dinner! “JNS Media views these occasions as the ideal chance to strengthen its area of expertise and establish contact with its customers. 16 Years of Excellence and Notable Milestones

Whilst JNS Media International carves 16 years of excellence in its history, we recollect the stunning sunshine of September 18, 2005 that flashed on the first-ever edition of VAR, print magazine focused on the ICT channel. Since then, we have seamlessly walked to success and established numerous milestones including two more meritorious publications (VARonline.com, The Integrator), events (ICT Champion Awards), and the B2B Lead Generation program.

Today, we attribute our strength to the success of 230+ editions of VAR, which continues to be the favorite publication of the ICT channel, 95 editions of The Integrator, 150+ events in 14 countries, and B2B lead generation program in 24 countries. The glorious journey thrives and we are all set to announce an iconic product Digital B2B Lead Generation platform at GITEX Technology Week – 2021. Simultaneously, VAR expands its functional ground to the electronics, IT, and telecom sectors. Notably, we are up again to honor leading ICT solutions providers in the 14^th edition of the ICT Champion Awards that happens on the sidelines of GITEX. Stay tuned!

The September 2021 edition of The Integrator covers the broad spectrum of the display market including commercial, professional, and consumer electronics display devices. As always, we left no stones unturned in our exploration of the sector. The growth prospects of OLED, the splurge out on consumer electronics, and the ongoing shortage of ICs, used in commercial display devices, have been explained in the edition and major interviews with industry leaders.

The Integrator has a progressive approach towards the developing trends in the market and we decide to dedicate a part of the September edition and the entire October edition to pour light on the UAE’s fastest-growing SME sector.

Evanssion signs MEA Distribution Agreement with Rubrik

Evanssion, the leading regional value added distributor for cloud transformation and information security solutions, has expanded its solutions portfolio by signing a distribution agreement with Rubrik, the Converged Data Management Company. The agreement enables Rubrik to expand its presence in the Middle East and Africa, while allowing Evanssion to broaden its portfolio and serve a greater variety of requirements.

Rubrik has experienced rapid customer growth in North America, and has launched its operations in the EMEA region in response to tremendous customer and partner demands. Rubrik’s Converged Data Management software powers the Company’s r300/r500 Series appliances, which deliver automated backup, instant recovery, unlimited replication, and data archival at infinite scale. The company was recently named a Gartner Cool Vendor in Storage Technologies.

“Rubrik is the game changing innovation for data protection in the last two decades, and the company’s steep growth in North America has proven that,” said Bipul Sinha, Rubrik Co-founder and CEO. “The demand for our solutions has increased significantly, and we are excited to partner with Evanssion to bring our solutions to customers in the Middle East.”

Rubrik has also announced the appointment of IT industry veteran Karl Driesen, as Head of EMEA Sales. As the former Vice President, EMEA at Palo Alto Networks, Driesen built a team of over 200 employees and a US $200M business in five years. Most recently, Driesen was a Vice President with Elastica.
