Established in 1981, COMPUTEX has witnessed the development and evolution of the global ICT industry for over thirty years. As ICT moves from traditional PCs toward the Internet of Things, COMPUTEX is also repositioning itself to maintain its position as the indexical B2B show in the Asian-Pacific market with the advantages of Taiwan’s complete ICT supplier chain. With Building Partnerships in Internet Computing Ecosystems as its new positioning from 2016, COMPUTEX aims to solidify its standing as a platform for releasing new products and technologies and for global ICT purchasing.

Four main themes and three new exhibits

COMPUTEX 2016 is organized around four main pillars: IoT applications, innovation & startups, business solutions and gaming.

The 2016 show will also increase its focus on industry trends through the establishment of three new exhibits: SmarTEX (IoT technologies and applications), InnoVEX (innovation and startups), and iStyle (Apple MFi-certified peripherals). These three exhibits will create a comprehensive overview of the Internet of Things and startup ecosystems.

COMPUTEX 2016 will be held from May 31st to June 4th at TWTC Exhibition Halls 1 and 3, the Taipei International Conference Center, and Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1. Over 1,600 exhibitors from 29 countries will be using over 5,000 booths to showcase their products and services, expecting to attract over 130,000 international and local buyers.
