Epson’s Vision for GITEX 2024: Sustainable Innovation and AI-Driven Solutions

  1. Please describe the overall theme of your booth or presence at GITEX 2024?

GITEX is a core part of Epson’s annual calendar, enabling the company to showcase new solutions, engage with industry leaders, enhance our relationship with partners, and increase our visibility. Epson is among the longest-standing exhibitors at GITEX, and the team knows that customers and partners are keen to experience the exciting new innovations presented at the event.

Epson’s presence at GITEX this year will build on the heritage of the iconic Japanese technology pioneer, while reimagining what technology can do for consumers and businesses with a visionary approach.  – emphasizing the importance of sustainable solutions and Epson’s commitment to eco-friendly practices.

  1. Please describe the primary products, solutions, use cases that you will be presenting at GITEX 2024?

Epson will showcase a full range of cutting-edge, high quality and eco-conscious technology solutions in printing, scanning, visual display, manufacturing, and lifestyle categories using Japanese design elements to highlight the company’s heritage. The stand will showcase Epson’s EcoTank home and business models, WorkForce Pro, WorkForce Enterprise, POS receipt printers, ColorWorks label printers, and many digital signage solutions. Epson’s immersive and engaging stand aims to present solutions catered to many thriving industries in the Middle East such as education, corporate and retail amongst many. Epson will present the EF-21 and EF-22 home cinema projectors, and the new Q-Series 4K 3LCD Laser Projectors in the META-CW Asia region this GITEX. The flagship QL-7000 model delivers vibrant images for immersive experiences in modern luxury homes – especially for multipurpose living spaces.

Epson will also introduce the new industrial color label printer, the ColorWorks-C8000e (BK) for the first time in the Middle East, and visitors will be able to preview Epson’s new DS-900WN network business scanner, which is set to officially launch in the Middle East later in the year.

  1. How is the impact of AI for channel partners and end users being showcased at your stand?

Epson is leveraging AI to enhance many aspects of our business within smart manufacturing to improve quality control, streamline production workflows, and ensure better efficiency. AI enables Epson to optimize logistics, supply chain management, and resource allocation.

AI also assists Epson with sustainability initiatives to monitor and manage the environmental impact of its solutions. The Epson 25 Renewed Corporate Vision aims to improve quality of life by using AI and digital technologies to connect people to information captured by sensors.

GITEX’s focus on Global Collaboration to Forge a Future AI Economy is particularly important for Epson, because they see international partnership and innovation as essential to achieving its long-term goals for its customers and for the shared planet. Through Epson’s unique solutions, the company will showcase the importance of AI and the huge impact it can make on businesses.

  • Please name the channel or alliance partners with whom you are participating or those that will be participating at your stand, and the solutions being presented jointly?

In partnership with MyQ Middle East, Epson will be using MyQ, a printing management software, to support with its printers that use Heat-Free Technology. PaperCut by Bridgesol will also be integrated with Epson’s solutions for the education sector, and OptimiDoc for simplified business solutions. Epson has also partnered with illumin8 studios for all of their lighting and video design elements, creating an immersive experience on the stand.

  • Are there any major announcements, keynote presentations, technical briefings, awards, being planned during GITEX 2024?

At GITEX this year, Epson will be launching a wide range of new solutions plus discussing our upcoming plans and strategies for the newly established Epson Middle East FZCO (“Epson META-CWA”), a new sales company to serve businesses, and consumers within one of the world’s most dynamic regions for technology adoption, with operations set to begin in October 2024. Headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, this strategic move reflects the immense potential that Epson sees across the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, and Central & West Asia (META-CWA).

Epson will also be launching the EF-21 and EF-22  home cinema projectors which have a  screen size of up to 150 inches. Both solutions are mini smart laser projection TVs that are easy to use, plus have long-lasting laser light source and superior picture quality. Epson will the new Q-Series 4K 3LCD Laser Projectors in the META-CW Asia region this GITEX.
