What key innovations are you showcasing at GITEX this year?

Before delving into our innovations, I’d like to highlight that Lexar has a team of 900 research and development engineers. This dedicated group of scientists and innovators works relentlessly to enhance existing products by improving their speed, performance, and capacity, while also creating entirely new solutions. This year, we are excited to introduce numerous new offerings, but I’d like to draw attention to one standout product: the Lexar Professional Go Portable SSD with Hub. This compact and elegant device weighs just 13 grams and can be connected directly to your iPhone, offering a remarkable 2-terabyte capacity. Notably, it includes a hub that allows users to simultaneously charge their iPhone while using the memory—a thoughtful design improvement over traditional setups. Additionally, I’d like to showcase our Armored Lexar Portable SSD (PSSD). This robust device is shock-resistant; you can drop it from significant heights or expose it to sand without any damage. It’s exceptionally durable and can be connected to both iPhones and cameras. We’re proud to lead in innovation as the first company worldwide to introduce a metal SD card. This card is sealed to be waterproof, shockproof, and sand-proof. Even if your camera falls into water, your data remains safe.

How is Lexar addressing the challenges of speed and capacity when it comes to storage devices?

Our engineers are advancing innovation through two primary avenues: developing new products and enhancing speed. We offer a comprehensive range of products, from entry-level solutions with lower speeds to high-performance devices with top-tier speeds. In addition to speed enhancements, we focus on reducing latency, boosting performance, and maximizing adaptability and compatibility. Lexar continues to lead the market with innovations, such as our fastest SSD, which achieves speeds of 12,000 megabytes per second. This is not a device for everyday users; it is tailored for gamers and professionals who demand extreme speed, power, and performance.

What do you think about Lexar’s growth in the Middle East market with your partners like MBuzz?

Over the past two years, Lexar has achieved remarkable growth, doubling our revenue from 2022 to 2024—a 200% increase. This success has been driven by our strong partnerships with distributors like MBuzz, who help ensure extensive market coverage across the region. Their collaboration has been crucial in our expansion efforts and market presence.
