Motif Interiors returns to Workspace 2025 with a bold new concept: The Social Café
Following the success of last year’s “Boardroom of the Future,” Motif Interiors returns to the Workspace Exhibition 2025 with a bold new installation that explores one of the most transformative shifts in modern office culture: the rise of the coffee-fuelled third space.
Titled Motif Social Café, this immersive 1,025 sqft stand challenges conventional notions of the workplace, bringing hospitality-infused environments into the heart of office design. Seamlessly blending café culture with functionality, the stand is a fully zoned experience that champions flexibility, sensory design, and community connection.
“As a design and build company, we’re constantly tracking how spaces are used—and more importantly, how people want to use them,” says Rita Estephan, Chief Operating Officer at Motif Interiors. “The Social Café is our response to a growing demand for workplaces that do more than support productivity. Today’s teams are looking for places that foster interaction, spark creativity, and simply feel good to be in.”
Design highlights include:
Zoned for experience
Designed around fluid, purpose-driven zones—from collaborative corners with plug-and-play tables to soft lounge areas for casual conversations—the space adapts to different ways of working and connecting.
Powered by nature & the senses
Natural materials, hanging gardens, and aromatherapy cues create a calm yet energising environment. It’s biophilia with intent—supporting focus, creativity, and well-being.
Coffee as culture
At the heart of the café is our open brew bar—an invitation to pause, observe, and converse. Here, coffee isn’t just a drink—it’s a ritual, a craft, a conversation starter.
Designed for today’s workstyles
With wireless charging, app-based bookings, and a digital community wall, the Motif Social Café brings modern-day productivity into a hospitality-infused setting.
Rooted in earth tones and natural finishes, the visual language of the stand speaks to a new era of interiors—one where experience matters as much as efficiency.
“Last year, we imagined the Boardroom of the future,” adds Estephan. “This year, we’re showing how even the office pantry can become a place of purpose. Coffee culture isn’t just a trend—it’s reshaping how we gather, how we work, and how we design.”
Motif Social Café will be open to all exhibitors and visitors, not just as a stand, but as a fully functional prototype of the future workplace, designed around the rituals that bring people together.
