Jafza logistics facility launched by GFH and Palmon
GFH Partners Manrre REIT (CEIC) PLC and Palmon Group have launched construction of a landmark Jafza logistics facility. The project introduces one of the UAE’s first high-bay, temperature-controlled warehouses and marks a new standard for Grade A logistics assets in Dubai.
Groundbreaking for the Jafza logistics facility
The groundbreaking ceremony took place in North Jafza and was attended by Abdulla Bin Damithan, CEO and Managing Director of DP World GCC, alongside senior officials and dignitaries. Their presence underlined the strategic importance of this project to Dubai’s logistics and industrial future.
Set on a 214,000 sq ft plot, the facility is designed to international specifications. It will bring new efficiencies, scalability, and tenant convenience to the region. In addition, the project responds directly to rising demand for premium logistics space from high-growth industries.
Specifications of the new logistics facility
The development will provide a 144,000 sq ft built-up area with capacity for 32,000 pallet positions and 16 loading bays. It also includes a rooftop viewing deck overlooking Jebel Ali Port. Furthermore, the design uses vertical storage solutions to maximize capacity within the same footprint. This approach combines operational intelligence with adaptability and sustainability.
Construction will finish in the first quarter of 2027. Advanced leasing discussions have already started with a major regional logistics provider, showing strong market appetite for Jafza logistics facility space.
Industry leaders on the project’s impact
Kunal Lahori, CEO of Palmon Group and Board Member of Manrre, said the project represents a leap forward in design.
“This is more than another warehouse. By building vertically, we optimize land resources and unlock efficiencies critical for Dubai’s cold-chain and supply chain sectors. This Grade A facility blends innovation and necessity, creating long-term value for Manrre stakeholders.”
Nael Mustafa, CEO of GFH Partners Ltd., added that the development strengthens the firm’s GCC logistics platform.
“This project reflects our confidence in the UAE and GCC as growth markets. It also demonstrates our commitment to delivering long-term investor value and to reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global logistics hub.”
Strengthening Dubai’s logistics hub status
The project builds on GFH Partners’ strategy of acquiring and developing mission-critical logistics and industrial assets across the GCC. Moreover, Palmon Group brings deep market experience as one of Jafza’s earliest companies. Together, they are shaping a facility that will serve the evolving needs of e-commerce, distribution, and cold-chain sectors.
By 2027, the Jafza logistics facility will not only offer high-grade space but also reinforce Dubai’s reputation for innovation in logistics and industrial development.
