CINEMACITY STARLIGHT OPENS IN MARINA MALL ABU DHABI

Cinemacity has opened its newest destination at Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi, introducing a new kind of entertainment space where film, theatre, dining, music and social experiences come together under one roof. More than a cinema, Cinemacity Starlight is designed as an immersive entertainment lounge where guests can gather, connect and experience culture from every corner of the venue.

Located within one of Abu Dhabi’s most established waterfront destinations, the new venue features nine state of the art screens, including the landmark Starlight Theatre which accommodates up to 500 guests. Designed as a cultural and entertainment house rather than a traditional cinema, the space invites visitors to arrive early, stay longer and experience a dynamic environment where film sits alongside live entertainment, conversation and hospitality.

At the heart of the venue is an exclusive members’ club, offering guests access to a refined lounge environment designed for connection and conversation. Members benefit from priority access, reserved seating areas, concierge style service and entry to a dedicated social lounge, positioning the venue as a place where guests can meet, network and relax whether they are attending a screening or simply gathering with friends and colleagues.

Dining plays a central role in the experience, with food and beverage concepts designed to complement the venue’s social atmosphere. Guests can enjoy artisanal Italian offerings at Graffiti Forno e Focacceria, elevated cinema favourites reimagined with a premium touch, and an upscale licensed dining concept serving contemporary cuisine, fine wines and craft cocktails. Select auditoriums also offer in-seat dining, blending restaurant style hospitality with cinematic entertainment.

Beyond film, Cinemacity Starlight will host curated cultural programming throughout the year, including special screenings, performances, private events and immersive experiences designed to bring people together. From theatre inspired presentations and music driven events to community gatherings and creative activations, the venue is envisioned as a place where entertainment, culture and hospitality intersect.
