Daikin is excited to announce its participation in Chillventa 2024. This year’s event will take place from October 8-10, 2024, at the Nuremberg Messe, Germany.

During the fair, Daikin Cold Chain group aims to inspire and engage all stakeholders in the cold chain industry through their dynamic meeting platform.

Highlighting our differentiated Daikin technologies, Daikin Cold Chain group will display their extensive portfolio and unveil new products and solutions in refrigeration, underscoring their comprehensive approach. Visitors can explore innovative system solutions featuring refrigerants R290 and CO2, next-generation Monoblock technology, advanced solutions for both industrial and semi-industrial applications, and digital products designed to monitor all electronic devices in a supermarket, enhancing operational efficiency and reliability. This includes the debut of the new AHT Chest Freezer, an innovation poised to transform the commercial plug-in refrigeration industry, and the new modular SPI CIRCUMPOLAR, a central unit in the efficient Semi Plug-in (SPI) System.

Daikin’s Wider Refrigerant Strategy

In the light of the F-gas regulation revision, Daikin will also give an outlook on future refrigerant alternatives in Europe for HVAC-R systems. During the Chillventa Specialist Forum on the 9th of October, the manufacturer will address applications, affordability, safety, and future-readiness of HVAC-R systems using these future refrigerants.

What products did Aukey showcase at GITEX Global 2024?
We were excited to showcase our latest series at GITEX Global 2024. We launched two new product lines during the event. The first was the Omnia-Frez series, a revolutionary cooling wireless charger designed to optimize battery life for iPhones and other wireless charging-compatible devices. The second was the Comet series, featuring ultra-compact GaN (Gallium Nitride) chargers. These chargers are not only highly efficient but also come with a sleek and elegant design that sets them apart.

When were these products expected to hit the market?
The Comet series was in the final stages of production during GITEX and was expected to be available in the market within a month. Meanwhile, the OmniFreeze series had already been launched the previous month and is available in key markets at the time of the event.

Was GITEX the first platform where these products were showcased?
No, we first unveiled these products at IFA Berlin earlier in the year. GITEX Global was our second major platform to showcase the Omnia-Frez and Comet series to the Middle East audience.

How did you engage visitors at GITEX, particularly with interactive demos for the TrackMate series?
During GITEX, we showcased advancements building on last year’s MagFusion series, which featured Qi2 charging technology for Apple users. This year, we introduced the Omnia-Frez series with integrated advanced cooling technology, designed to prolong mobile battery life. The response from visitors to these demos was very positive, and the interactive showcases helped highlight the key benefits of our latest innovations.

How did participating in GITEX Global help you connect with partners and consumers?
GITEX Global was an essential event for us, especially in the Middle East market. We consistently participate in major global events, starting with CES in the US, followed by Channel Hub and Channel Summit in Abu Dhabi and Monaco. We also attend IFA Berlin and events in Hong Kong. This year, we expanded into Africa by exhibiting at GITEX Morocco for the first time. The response from partners and visitors at GITEX Global was overwhelmingly positive, and it further validated our growth strategy in key markets.

Aukey’s wireless chargers hold Qi2 certification. Why was obtaining this certification important for your products?
At Aukey, we focus on delivering affordable yet cutting-edge technologies that compete with the industry’s biggest players, such as Apple. Staying up to date with the latest innovations on a monthly, and sometimes weekly, basis is essential. Consumers are constantly looking for innovative products, and we pride ourselves on providing chargers that are not only powerful but also sustainable, elegantly designed, and long-lasting. Qi2 certification ensures that our wireless chargers meet the highest standards of reliability and safety, which is critical for consumer trust and satisfaction.

How was the feedback from visitors at GITEX regarding the two new product series?
The feedback was extremely positive. We received significant interest from visitors and forged several new partnerships leading up to and during GITEX. These collaborations have allowed us to expand further into new markets. GITEX Global once again proved to be a fantastic platform for connecting with industry leaders, engaging in meaningful discussions, and fostering new opportunities. The event provided us with valuable insights and an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships with partners and customers.

Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) unveiled several highly anticipated products that usher in a new era of flagship foldable excellence, as part of the “Unfold the Classic” HUAWEI Flagship Product Launch held in Dubai on December 12. Among these products is the new foldable smartphone, HUAWEI Mate X6, which sets a new standard for foldable smartphones and further solidifies Huawei’s leadership in the market. The HUAWEI Mate X6 is expected to redefine the foldable experience with its innovative design, durability, advanced features, and exceptional user experience.

In addition to the Mate X6, Huawei introduced an impressive lineup of new devices, including the HUAWEI nova 13 series, HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 4, HUAWEI FreeClip in Rose Gold, and the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5. This suite of products represents a new era of flagship innovation, showcasing Huawei’s commitment to continuous advancement and delivering flagship experiences for consumers across the MEA region.

HUAWEI Mate X6

HUAWEI Mate X6 is a foldable smartphone that’s extremely thin and light while also being extremely durable. It comes with the 2nd Generation Kunlun Glass, which protects the exterior screen, while a carbon fibre inner screen plate adds strength to the interior display. The phone features an advanced multi-dimensional hinge and a robust aviation-grade aluminium middle frame. The Kunlun Glass offers 25 times better drop resistance.

The HUAWEI Mate X6’s camera system is one of its standout features, designed to capture true-to-life colours. The 50MP Ultra Aperture Camera is equipped with a ten-size adjustable physical aperture, ranging from F1.0 to F4.0, allowing users to control depth of field and light intake with precision. The camera also incorporates the Ultra Chroma technology, which uses 1.50 million spectral channels to boost colour accuracy by 120%. Equipped with an OLED exterior and a large internal OLED display, the Mate X6 supports a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate.
