Synology has released the new DiskStation DS1515, the first 5-bay NAS a powerful and expandable 5-bay NAS offering a high-performance, reliable, and full-featured network attached storage solution for growing small and medium-sized businesses.

Coming with a quad-core processor and four gigabit LAN ports featuring failover and Link Aggregation, DS1515 delivers outstanding performance, exceeding 421 MB/s writing and 403 MB/s reading when using a RAID 5 configuration in a Windows environment.

The DS1515 supports Synology High Availability, providing redundancy in the event of unexpected network failure and ensuring a smooth transition between clustered servers for the highest reliability and resiliency. The SSD read/write cache support further allows SMBs to see a considerable boost in throughput while minimizing the cost per gigabyte. Designed to grow with SMBs, the DS1515 can scale up to 15 drives when paired with two DX513 expansion units.

Pierre Hermé, the World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2016 puts his technical experience into bite size perfection in the form of macarons. Enjoy exotic taste sensation such as the Mogador Macaron, blending tangy passion fruit with sweet milk chocolate ganache. Expect Monsieur Hermé’s signature Ispahan Macaron with rose cream, lychee and raspberries celebrated with Ispahan Croissant and indulgent French Toast option like Pain Perdu Ispahan.
