OMA Emirates to launch ‘Benefits Beyond’ loyalty scheme

OMA Emirates, a provider of cutting edge technology for the payment industry is set to announce the launch of its new multi-loyalty scheme ‘Benefits Beyond’ at Cards & Payments Middle East 2016 on May 31 – June 1 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The company has been making strong strides in developing their portfolio of retail solutions that has stemmed from the tremendous research an experience they have in the payment industry.

Benefits Beyond is a Business-to-Business-to-Consumer loyalty program that enables retailers to collect to enroll for a co-branded loyalty program and analyze customer data and the supply chain data including distributors, dealers, and sales agents. It helps in developing targeted communication programs that will boost the revenue of retailers. The most critical feature of the program is that it allows customers to use the card across multi-stores to accumulate as well as redeem points.

“We have made strong investments in our research and development and over the years our in-depth knowledge of the industry has driven us to look beyond our existing product portfolio while making a conscious effort to make inroads into the IT services sector. We aim to provide value additions that will enable our customers to not only streamline IT processes but to also provide them platforms that will help them work closely with their customers and build on their loyalty programs. Our Benefits Beyond loyalty scheme has been designed to bring on a range of merchants under one umbrella and in turn help customers avail of the points across multi channels and locations,” said Niranj Sangal, Group CEO, OMA Emirates Group.

The loyalty scheme is built on the OMA Retail Suite which lays the foundation to connect the member retailers through a fully automated ERP system and represents an ecosystem of web portals and Windows, Android application. The highly scalable solution is built for both large and small organizations and is capable of being used across business sectors.

“What is exciting for the customer is that they are now not limited to availing of their loyalty points in one store or location, but now have the advantage of using the card across all the merchants who will be a part of the program. This could span across branded stores, supermarkets, airlines and even avail of their points at places of entertainment. It can also be utilized to make bill payments as well as top up air time,” added Sangal.

The common branded card, ’Benefits Beyond‘ also works e-purse wallet (prepaid) that allows consumers to add money to the wallet to use along with loyalty points in real time across the OMA Emirates network of over 10000 POS terminals.

Benefits Beyond has been specifically designed to be white labelled to help large organizations create their personalized customer loyalty programs. Simultaneously it reaches out to smaller retailers who can now begin their loyalty program without the burden of large budgets. The cards include multi-features that make it extremely easy to use and include Smart Cards, Magnetic Stripe as well as Contactless options.

At Cards & Payments Middle East, OMA Emirates will be represented by senior executives who will assist customers and demonstrate some of the key solutions that the company has developed for the payment industry. OMA Emirates will be located at stand J50.

Deep Dive Dubai Launches Sunken City Walk, a Cinematic Underwater Experience that Makes Adventure Just a Step Away

Deep Dive Dubai has unveiled its newest attraction for experience seekers with the launch of Sunken City Walk. The guided underwater activity invites guests to step into a cinematic cityscape filled with surreal details. From an underwater swing and motorbike to a café table that looks straight out of a movie scene, this is Dubai’s latest must-try attraction.

The hour-long journey begins with a full briefing and safety overview, followed by guests changing into wetsuits and equipment provided on-site. They then join trained instructors for a 20-minute guided underwater walk through the Sunken City—an accessible, certification-free experience that requires no swimming skills, making it ideal for guests aged 10 and above. Currently offered at an introductory price of AED 600, with an optional 30-second keepsake video for AED 200, the experience is currently available in four daily slots at 11 AM, 12 PM, 2pm, and 3pm.

According to Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), the city welcomed 9.88 million international visitors in the first half of 2025, a six percent increase year-on-year, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s leading lifestyle and tourism hubs. Sunken City Walk at Deep Dive Dubai adds a new way for visitors to experience the city’s spirit of reinvention, where adventure is always just a step away.

While Sunken City Walk offers a first taste of underwater adventure, guests can plunge into the incredible world of diving at Deep Dive Dubai, choosing from experiences such as scuba diving, freediving, and specialised diving courses.
