Galadari Automobiles Co. launched the highly anticipated first-ever MAZDA CX-60 and CX-90 models during the inaugural ceremony of the all-new Mazda Showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, marking a momentous milestone in the 50-year partnership between Galadari Automobiles and Mazda Motor Corporation, Japan. This demonstrates the company’s commitment to excellence as well as successfully meeting customers’ needs, in line with the UAE’s vision to become a leading automotive hub.

With meticulous precision, the first-ever Mazda CX-60 and CX-90 models have been built to embody automotive perfection, striking an ideal balance between performance and finesse. Both the CX-60 and CX-90 models are offered with a powerful and responsive 3.3L Inline-6 Turbocharged engine, combined with a 48V mild hybrid system. This combination delivers an output of 284 hp and 450 Nm of torque in the CX-60, as well as a peak output of 345 hp and an impressive 500 Nm of torque in the CX-90. Furthermore, the fuel efficiency of the CX-60 is 15.4 km/L while that of the CX-90 is 14.3 km/L, which in itself is best-in-class. These key specifications distinguish the two models within the automotive landscape in terms of power and efficiency.

Front End spearheads the historic air taxi trial in Mecca

Front End is proud to announce that the company enabled a successful demonstration of the first unmanned air taxi trial in Mecca, supported by its partner, EHang.

Front End’s commitment to bringing the latest technology to the Kingdom along with EHang’s guidance in the adoption of urban air mobility, together with the leadership of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, the Ministry of Hajj, the Ministry of Interior, marked a pivotal step towards a faster, more efficient, and sustainable Hajj. This collaboration unlocked a truly innovative solution, showcasing the remarkable potential of government-private partnerships to drive advancements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

General Motors Africa and Middle East appoints Furrukh Jawaid as new Chief Marketing Officer

General Motors Middle East continues its path to transform mobility in the region, while also providing world class cars, trucks and SUVs. Effective July 1st, 2024, Furrukh Jawaid will join GM to lead its Marketing effort across its vehicle brands Chevrolet & GMC, consolidating GM’s growth plans and spearheading the next phase in GM’s quest to transform the customer experience in the region through his track record focused on innovation.  

Most recently Head of Performance Marketing & Data Enablement at General Motors Canada, Furrukh will oversee the teams across brand marketing, product marketing, CRM, and retail marketing, digital marketing, as well as retail and customer experiences for Chevrolet and GMC across the region.  He takes on the role from Suzie Guzzo who was earlier appointed in 2022 and has now been promoted and relocated to the US.

Furrukh first joined General Motors in 2008 as a coop student, he’s since taken on significant cross-functional responsibilities through Finance, Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA), Vehicle Sales and Marketing. He holds extensive expertise in digital and performance marketing, with an eye for innovation, having championed several initiatives to facilitate smoother processes within the organization.
