  • Deal Central Dashboard: This new tool consolidates Juniper partner deals, quotes and marketing leads, streamlining the deal registration process and enabling partners to respond in two hours or less for 80 percent of commercial deals and six hours or less for strategic deals of less than $250K.

Through the Juniper Partner Advantage Program and its innovative AI-Native Networking Platform, Juniper is committed to helping partners maximize performance, productivity, and profitability. Coming off the heels of 233 percent growth in participants YoY, Juniper has expanded its existing Champions Program to bring more scale and expertise to participating partners through a robust extended sales force delivering strong Juniper acumen to support our mutual customers. Additionally, as partners expand investments to gain deeper technology expertise, there has been 20 percent sales growth YoY for partners invested with three or more Juniper specializations. Together with its partners, Juniper is delivering speed, scale and value to its customers, ultimately making every connection count.

“Juniper’s innovative approach to AI-driven networking and the recent enhancements to the JPA program, helps us to differentiate our as-a-service offerings to support our customers across the entire customer lifecycle while providing us with opportunities to accelerate profitability.” Jim McKenna, Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, Black Box

“Customers turn to Presidio’s Managed Services for our team’s expertise and to strategically complement their organizations and manage their day-to-day infrastructure. Partnering with Juniper for their industry leading AIOps enables us to build out a comprehensive offering to our customers with tangible results.” Norm Egan, Vice President, Presales, Presidio

“The new Partner Assured designation provides an incredible opportunity for us to differentiate our customer offerings through third-party assurance of our capabilities to deliver exceptional outcomes across the entire customer lifecycle. This new designation, combined with our GTM approach and Juniper’s market leading AIOps, create a compelling offering for our customers.” Mohamed El Haddouchi, Managing Director, Nomios Netherlands and Group CTO

On November 18th, Riyadh will host the “Future of Information Security: Protection as a Service” event, organized by SearchInform in partnership with AFAQ Security. Participation is free of charge.

RoadShow SearchInform is the key event in the field of data protection for business owners, executives, top InfoSecurity, and IT specialists. Conferences take place worldwide and have already been held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

“The current level of digitalization of businesses does not allow organizations to be negligent with data. Lack of data protection today and non-compliance with legal requirements mean that tomorrow your critical information will leak to a competitor, and you will pay fines to a watchdog.

We, in turn, provide businesses with information security trainings so that companies are aware of the modern threats to data security and are able to prevent them,” says Lev Matveev, founder of SearchInform.

In Riyadh, experts will reveal how data protection solutions combat fraudsters and prevent such insider incidents as leaks, financial fraud, theft, violations of access rights distribution, etc.

Information security specialists will outline the top 5 internal threats to data security in MENA, share clients’ cases, and answer participants’ questions.

Since the RoadShow traditionally serves as a platform for the exchange of experience and networking, all the attendees will have an opportunity to discuss all matters of interest during the coffee break.

Toshiba Collaborates with PROMISE Technology on Providing the Optimal Data Storage Technology for CERN’s Large Hadron Collider

Published

on

Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH (Toshiba) recently announces a new video that showcases its successful partnership with PROMISE Technology to deliver enhanced data storage capabilities to CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, home to the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The video explores how the collaborative partnership has been instrumental in fulfilling CERN’s mission by delivering robust storage systems and cutting-edge hard drives to support its groundbreaking research.

The LHC’s collision detectors, which run 24/7, generate approximately 1TB of data per minute, necessitating robust and reliable data storage. Since 2008, CERN has used PROMISE Technology’s 24-bay JBOD VTrak J5800 HDD enclosures, with some of the earliest systems still operational today. CERN has also used Toshiba’s Enterprise Capacity HDDs, starting with capacities of 4TB over ten years ago to the MG09 Series Enterprise Capacity 18TB HDDs.

During this time, the two companies supported CERN in scaling up the storage capacity at its central data center, which sends this data to more than 170 research institutes around the world for analysis. Today, this storage system has reached a capacity of more than one Exabyte, which is one thousand Petabytes or a million Terabytes, realized with more than 120,000 HDDs sitting in more than 4,000 JBOD enclosures.

Building on this success, PROMISE Technology developed a new 60-bay JBOD model, the VTrak J5960. The JBOD storage system incorporates ‘Greenboost’ technology, a suite of energy-saving innovations that can reduce power consumption by up to 30%. In the HDD application lab, Toshiba completed early testing PROMISE Technology’s 60-bay JBOD with its Enterprise Capacity MG10 Series 20TB HDDs, and confirmed data- and cooling performance and power efficiency, which aligns with the global push towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly data management practices.

About this collaboration achievement in data storage Eric Bonfillou, Debuty Group Leader of CERN’s IT Fabric group states: “In our quest to unravel the mysteries of the universe, we need partners who understand the importance of data storage, reliability, and efficiency with solutions that are tailored to our unique needs.”

“The energy crisis is now a real challenge to all enterprises, including CERN,” Alice Chang, Chief Marketing Officer, PROMISE Technology. “The VTrak J5960 offers a well-rounded solution to solve this dilemma, and we are confident that Toshiba’s Enterprise Capacity HDDs, installed and operated in this JBOD, will support CERN’s future need for growing data storage capacity in a reliable and energy-efficient way.”

“At Toshiba, we are very proud to support CERN’s activities with Enterprise Capacity HDDs,” says Rainer W. Kaese, Senior Manager Business Development, Storage Products Division at Toshiba. “We continue to develop higher capacities, up to 30TB and beyond, as HDDs are and will remain essential for storing the exabytes of data that CERN and the entire world produce in a cost-effective and energy-efficient manner.”

While the video celebrates the collaborative work with CERN, the focus remains on the technological advancements and the future of data storage at the research facility. Toshiba and PROMISE Technology are committed to providing solutions that ensure the LHC’s research continues without interruption, contributing to our understanding of the universe.
